What is ToBuS?

ToBuS is called for the german string Touristisches Buchungs-System (Touristi bookkeeping system or known as tourist reservation system) and is a applikation and database solution in PHP. ToBuS will be a managment solution for holiday apartments and will be a low cost solution for presentations of complete hliday solutions. ToBuS was first created in 2000. The redesign of the applikation is founded by needed tools and experience of the website Maerkische-Schweiz.com (a tourism region in Brandenburg/ Germany, near Berlin).

ToBuS is distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). It is developing on Debian-Linux and tested on Redhat, SuSE and Windows. Feedback for other platforms is welcome :).

ToBuS != FoBuS
The Project ToBuS is not joined with the Application FoBuS, which used a similar pronounced name. Against the usage of the name i have announced my scrupulousness as owner of the trademark ToBuS. I hope, the problem will be solved in any time.

new Design of project page
For a nice look of the projaektpage, is tobus.org relaunched. My favourit colors "green characters on yellow Ground" will available in the future too, and the Tobus typeface are yellow. For the news i must be create a little content management system. Important is at the moment the coding of ToBuS source with the most features.
